Fundraiser
I am dedicating this post to my bro Johnathon. He is leaving for Australia July 9 and will be there for 5 months! He is going with ywam (sp??) I wanted to let everyone know that Sunday night (June 28), 15% of all profits of Fat Boy's will go to him for support. It is only from 4-9 so if you can, get some dinner at Fat Boy's! :) I would also like to ask everyone to keep him in your prayers for the next 5 months. I'm not exactly sure what all they will be doing, but I know he will be taking classes and they will be working in the city with the youth there.
I am so extremely happy for him (and a bit envious :)! )
I'll try to keep up with him as much as possible and he even mentioned starting a blog while he's there (we'll see if that happens) but if he does, i'll get that link too.
Thank you in advace for your support!

Catch up
Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted! Lets, see.... where do I start? I am very busy with class. I only have 3 weeks left then I get a two week break! Can't wait!!! I have been very busy reading as well.... I have jumped on the Twilight ban-wagon! (and I LOVE it) I have read the first two books and am dying to start the third, but I'm not buying it until my break because reading has taken WAY to much time away from my homework :0) and my blogging. I haven't even been reading other's blogs... I haven't been on the computer much lately unless it's for homework. I'm going to do better about that though.. I miss reading about everyone! This past weekend, Beau's sister and her family were here for a few days. I'll try to get caught up on pics too... I'm so behind. We have been teaching Copeland's sunday school class which is pretty interesting. We usually have 10-15 two and three year olds! We are usually pretty wore out by the time we leave ha. The weekend of the fourth we are heading to Branson for a little get-a-way. We are staying in a cabin on the river. I'm pretty excited. It's been a while since we have been camping or went anywhere besides IN. We usually don't take vacations because we feel like if have the time we should go to IN, but we are making an exception this time. Branson is only about 2 1/2 hrs from us so we are going for 2 nights. And it's our last summer out here so we thought we would make the best of it. Well that's pretty much it in a nutshell....Today we are swimming... it's too hot to do anything else. With 100 degree weather, what else is there to do??
I hope everyone is having a good week! God bless!!

"There are many days that I wish I didn't have to smile, but God gave me this smile for a reason, and that is to show that no matter how deep a valley may seem, or how long a storm rages on I still have so many blessings to smile for.... As easy as it is to be bitter and to claim my dad (or in my case our baby) as my own, he was never mine". This is taken from my cousin Brittany's blog-aka whats left of me. I love hear dearly and love reading her blog. So often, what she writes I feel myself. Like the quote above, I couldn't have said it better myself. I still have my days of struggle and think of the precious little gift that is now in heaven. I know the Lord has a plan... and I long for the day that we are blessed with another child. I have to tell myself daily that everything is in his control and his time. I have a verse that is posted on my fridge and I read it every time I open it... Delight yourself in the Lord, and wait patiently on Him. I am trying to just that!
On a different note, we have been enjoying this summer weather to the fullest! We have been swimming the last 4 days! We have a little kiddy pool in the back yard and we went to the pool on base too. We LOVE being outside and playing in water!! I don't have any pictures... keep forgetting to get my camera and by the time I think about it, I'm wet! :) I'll try to get some soon. Tonight we are going to a nice resteraunt for my birthday, and this weekend we are goint to the city with some friends for dinner and birthday shopping. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Birhtday and Indiana
Wow, I don't even know where to start!! We have had a busy last two weeks! First of all, Copeland turned 2!! I can't believe it. We had a party for him here at our house, and then we had a party for him while we were in Indiana with a few friends and family.
The party out here was great. He had all of his little friends over and they played outside and we rented a bouncy castle!! (that's the thing to do, and about the only thing to do out here). All of the kiddos enjoyed bouncing. We had it for two days so Cope got to enjoy it the next day too. Even myself, Beau, my brother and my mom got in to try it out :)
Cope and I went home with my mom and brother so we could be home for more then just 3 days, and Beau joined us on thursday night. On monday -Cope's actual bday- we went to walmart got a birthday doughnut and balloon, went to the park to play, and then got mason's and ate lunch with my mom at ACC. It was a great day. We also had the privalige of going to play group on Wednesday! Thank you girls for letting us get a glimpse of what we will get to enjoy when we move back home!! Cope had a little fit, but all in all it was a good time. (we now know the fit was partly to do with teeth!) The rest of the week we just enjoyed spending time with family. my sister and bro-in-law were home from FL too.
We started a little project at my parents house. All of us kids, and dad, made a little sitting area for my mom in the back yard. She has wanted this forever!! So we did most of the work, all that is left to do is landscaping.
Saturday we had a phot shoot with Leah R. I just have to say, she did a WONDERFUL job!! Cope was not feeling so well (running a fever, also from teeth) so we had to cut it short, but with the very limited opportunities Leah had, she got some wonderful pictures! (She posted a few on her blog) Then saturday ngiht we had a party for Cope at Fatboys... It was also cut short due to Cope not feeling well. He was still running a little bit of a fever, and lets just say we changed his diaper FOUR times while we were there. I finally just took him home, gave him some meds and a banana and we just rested. He is feeling much better now though! Back to his ol' wild and crazy self! :)
We also went to look at a couple of houses since we are moving back to IN in 5 months!! I'll keep you all updated on the house hunt!
Here are some pics.... Hope everyone is having a great week!!
I almost forgot, we had my brothers graduation party also! He graduated from IU with a degree in accounting and finance! We are soo proud of him. I didn't get very many pictures of the party :(

My Husband
A fellow blogger, Jessie shared and bragged on her husband and asked the rest of us to do the same! This is such a great idea because I know I don't praise my man enough!
First of all I have to say how proud of him I am that he is serving our country! He is one great (and HOT) soldier!! :) I never get tired of seeing him in his uniform!!! He as served for almost 6 years and was in Iraq for 5 months. He also "serves" in the nursery! This will be the second summer that we have volunteered in the nursery at our church. I love it because there aren't a whole lot of guys who are willing to help in the nursery!
He is a wonderful father. He loves Copeland with all his heart and it shows. He gives baths, reads, plays outside, and puts Cope to bed (and so much more). I know there are days when he gets home from work and he's tired, but he always gives in to his little buddy. He melts like butter when it comes to Cope. Every time we go to Wal-Mart HE is the one who wants to get Copeland a toy. He says he just wants him to have stuff to play with! :) How cute is that?!
He is a wonderful husband. Words cannot even express how much I love him and how thankful I am for him. Sometimes I think he doesn't get me and he's not supportive, but then I know he is as much as he knows how to be and that is all I need. We have had a rough 3 months and he has been my shoulder to cry on, my person to vent to, and my strength. He cleans the house, bless his heart he tries and wants to cook (we are working on that one), he does all the yard work, and he always lets me go out by myself or to the movies with a friend if I need a break!
I'm sure I left out so much out, but I sure do love him! :)
